Hometown Heroes

Serving those who serve our local communities

At Hometown Heroes, we are giving back to those men and women who help make our local communities a better place to live. Police and Fire personnel help keep our cities safe, Teachers help educate our children, Doctors and Nurses keep us in good health, city personnel keep our city infrastructure running strong and soldiers at home and abroad protect our country. The Hometown Heroes program can minimize the cost and stress of buying or selling a home by providing thousands of dollars in benefits to our hometown heroes.

Meet the executive team

Sean Varin Founder

I have always had a profound sense of pride in my hometown. I realize that I am truly a product of my community and I am proud to live, work, and raise my family here. I believe that giving back to the community is the right thing to do and I also believe it is our responsibility to make sure our communities are a better place for future generations. Part of making it better is to help our neighbors. When the economy hit hard times we wanted to help people by offering discounts on services (without a sacrifice to the level of service) and I am proud that other real estate professionals were willing to step up to want to do their part as well. From that collaboration, we created Our Hometown Heroes to offer deserving people of the community the Hometown Heroes benefits program and I am extremely proud of the role that this organization has had in helping those who serve in our communities.

I was once asked why I was so passionate about the hometown heroes program. It’s ingrained in my life and upbringing. Me, my father, grandfather, great-great grandfather, and so on all served in the US military, extending before the civil war. My wife and younger brother are teachers, my sister and brother-in-law are in the ministry (non-profit), my older brother is a police officer, firefighter, search and rescue, and was an emergency medic (EMT). This program hits me close to home.

As a young man, I believed it was important to give back to this great country and serve to protect its freedoms and way of life. As an adult, I still hold these truths to be foundational but I also now see the importance of serving those who have come after me and now serve in that same capacity.

I’m excited about what we are doing and where we are going with this program. It’s everyone’s dream to have a career that you love and that you believe in. Thank you for allowing me to serve you and be part of this amazing vision.
